Winsloe Lions Club Bursary
Each year, the Winsloe Lions Club awards three $500 bursaries to graduating students from:
Charlottetown Rural High School
Colonel Gray High School
Bluefield High School
Awarded to an Island resident who resides in the Winsloe Lions Club service community and:
Enrolled in 1st year full time studies at an accredited Canadian post secondary institution.
Student who demonstrates community involvement such as volunteering.
Student who demonstrates good academic achievement.
Preference will be given to those with greater community involvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
Completed application form
Personal statement as outlined in application form
Ccopy of a current high school transcript
Provide a confirmation of enrolment letter from the post secondary institution (if available)
Specific supporting documentation may be requested by the club

Note: Specific supporting documentation may be requested by the club. Successful applicants will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient time for award presentation. A photo of the presentation is required.
2025 Lions Club Bursary Recipients
Each year, the Winsloe Lions Club is proud to support local students as they take the next step in their educational journey.
This year’s $500 bursaries were awarded to three outstanding graduates:

Harley Ford-Hutchinson – Bluefield High School
Camden Perry – Colonel Gray High School
